S.T. House Balçova: Warm-Toned Residential Design in Balçova

Balçova is a district of İzmir known for its thermal tourism and upper-middle-income residential areas. S.T. House was realised in this context as an interior architecture work that both reflects the calm spirit of the area and fully meets modern living standards.

Location: Balçova, İzmir Category: Residential – Medium-Large Scale Home

Concept: Warmth and Depth

The main goal of the design was, alongside creating a warm home feeling, to offer spatial depth and richness in every room. This balance was established with soft forms, organic textures, and layered lighting.

Main Space Composition

On the ground floor, the open-plan living-dining-kitchen triangle was organised fluidly. Kitchen cabinet colour was deepened to warm beige; counter cladding in compact stone texture offered both a beautiful and durable solution.

Bedroom Floors

Each bedroom acquired its own atmosphere. Children's rooms colourful and active; master bedroom quiet, muted in tone, and restful. In bathroom design, large-format ceramics and a niched shower system were chosen.
