Taba Factory (Torbalı, İzmir) is one of the most comprehensive projects WELL MIMARLIK has carried out at industrial scale. The 2,400 sqm area was designed in terms of production flow optimisation, worker comfort, and institutional reputation.

Project Summary

Location: Torbalı, İzmir Area: 2,400 sqm Material Palette: Corrugated steel / Polished concrete Year: 2025

Production Line Organisation

The production line running from raw material entry to finished product exit was planned with a linear logic. Cross-traffic was prevented; inter-station distances were minimised. Storage zones were placed close to production lines but in positions that would not disrupt circulation.

Corrugated Steel: Identity and Durability

Corrugated steel facade and interior partition applications provided both aesthetic consistency and high durability. Sections were differentiated with colour coding: yellow = walkway, red = safety zone, green = work area.

Polished Concrete Floor

Polished concrete was chosen both for cleanability and forklift traffic durability. The shiny appearance of the surface gave the factory a cleaner and more professional feel.
