Cemka Mobilya Factory is a large-scale facility project engaged in furniture manufacturing in Seyrek. In this facility housing timber processing, surface coating, and assembly processes, interior architecture assumed both operational and environmental tasks.

Project Summary

Location: Seyrek, İzmir Category: Industrial – Furniture Production Factory

Special Requirements of a Timber Factory

Timber processing factories generate specific requirements in terms of dust and shaving management. The ventilation system was designed with sufficient capacity for shaving aspiration; floor finish was selected to facilitate cleaning (easily sweepable, non-filling surface).

Production Line Planning

Raw timber entry → Cutting station → Shaping → Surface treatment → Assembly → Packaging → Exit — this sequence was planned with a linear logic. Preventing cross-traffic was mandatory both for production efficiency and workplace safety.

Corporate Identity Integration

Industrial projects are typically left devoid of corporate identity. At Cemka, brand colours were integrated into facade and interior partition applications. In the visitor area, company values and product visuals were displayed.
